Jeremy Irons and other members of the cast and creative team behind HBO’s upcoming series WATCHMEN will attend the 2019 New York Comic Con, for a screening and panel discussion, on Friday, October 4, from 3:45pm – 5:45pm, on the Main Stage at the Javits Center.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Vulture TV Critic Jen Chaney.
BUILD Studio will host Damon Lindelof, Nicole Kassell, Regina King, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jeremy Irons, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Hong Chau, and Jean Smart on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 5:30 PM to discuss the highly-anticipated HBO series Watchmen.
Set in an alternate history where “superheroes” are treated as outlaws, WATCHMEN embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel of the same name while attempting to break new ground of its own.

The ATG inaugural summer party was held at Kensington Palace’s gardens in recognition of the significant contribution that actor Ian McKellen has made to the theatre and film industry. Guests included Sinead Cusack, Jeremy Irons, Denise Gough, Lynette Linton, Bonnie Langford, Iwan Rheon, Kelsey Grammer and Sonia Friedman.
McKellen’s recent sold out 80-date tour of his one-man show, Ian McKellen on Stage with Tolkien, Shakespeare, Others and You – celebrating the star’s 80th birthday this year – transfers to the West End’s Harold Pinter Theatre from 20 September. The show has raised over £3 million for regional theatres to date and profits from the West End run will benefit an additional selection of theatre charities.

“Porto Legends — the Underground Experience” is an immersive virtual show that brings you deep into the hidden secrets and legends of the Undefeated City.
From the magical architecture of the Porto Customs House — Furnas da Alfândega and the work by the renown historian Joel Cleto, OCUBO Studio created a show full of mystery, suspended between reality and imagination.
With artistic direction by Nuno Maya, the show is narrated by the voices of Pedro Abrunhosa, the great Portuguese author, and “Best Actor” Academy Award winner Jeremy Irons.
All mysteries are an integral part of the soul of the city and will be narrated by voices, graphic animation and music, so the walls of Furnasda Alfândega will come alive to tell the public their story.
The show is a unique and immersive audiovisual experience of national resonance which aims to become a landmark of the city, a must-see cultural icon to be enjoyed by the people of Porto and by visitors alike.

Diane Keaton and Jeremy Irons are set to star in the independent romantic comedy “Love, Weddings and Other Disasters” with Dennis Dugan directing from his own script.
Fortitude will introduce “Love, Weddings and Other Disasters” to buyers at the upcoming Toronto Film Festival.
The female-driven, multi-story rom-com follows the people who work to create the perfect wedding day for the spouses-to-be even as their own relationships are outlandish and imperfect.
Diego Boneta, Dnce guitarist JinJoo Lee, Jesse McCartney and Veronica Ferres will also appear in the film.
“Love” is Dugan’s first independent feature. His directing credits include “Happy Gilmore,” “Just Go With It,” “Big Daddy’ and the two “Grown Ups” titles with combined worldwide box office revenues topping $2 billion. Fully financed by Align, filming will begin Sept. 16 in Boston.

A new, full-length trailer for Watchmen debuted at the 2019 Comic-Con. The series will premiere on HBO in October 2019. It features Jeremy Irons as Adrian Veidt / Ozymandias.
On Sunday 16 June 2019, Jeremy Irons was in Rome, Italy for Il Cinema in Piazza. He presented a screening of his 1996 film Stealing Beauty, directed by Bernardo Bertolucci, at Piazza San Cosimato.
Jeremy Irons was a special guest speaker at the Savannah College of Art and Design’s 2019 Spring Commencement, on Friday 31 May.
Jeremy was in Georgia filming Watchmen for HBO and was able to travel to Savannah to attend commencement (and do a little shopping and sight-seeing).
