LPA Futures ’09 is a unique and unprecedented competition to find the next generation of commercial photographers. Launched in 2007, LPA Futures is a division of the Lisa Pritchard Agency, an established photographers agent and stills producer based in London. Esteemed experts from the worlds of photography, advertising and design have selected 5 outstanding winners; the ‘prize’ is to be represented by LPA Futures for 2 years!
SAM IRONS: Sam’s work combines a quest for exploration with a deep knowledge of the history of Art. His unique eye is able to invest in the places he photographs, often the ‘undiscovered’ or the overlooked, with a sense of the surreal that strips them of their context and encourages a re-evaluation from the viewer.
The work of the winners will be showcased for the first time along with work from the LPA Photographers between 14 May 2009 and 10 June 2009 at the theprintspace. www.theprintspace.co.uk
